New Date Format for Payroll and A/P Cheques
The payroll cheques update was distributed with the January 2007 update.
The new date format for A/P cheques is only available for Abacus V5.50 Users
Only.
IF YOU HAVE Abacus WITH A VERSION PRIOR TO V5.50, CONTACT US FOR THE LATEST VERSION.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR INSTALLATION
Two very important steps to remember before you begin the Installation are:
- Make sure you are running Abacus V5.50 before you update.
- Ensure that you turn off your Anti-virus scanning
software running in the background.
You are now ready to begin your l Installation.
Instructions for downloading Abacus Cheque Format Update:
- You will need to install the update into the \ABACUS2
folder. If each user runs off their own local hard drive, then you will need
to install this update onto each computer.
- To install the Abacus Cheque Format
Update, Click on the shortcut for the file below and select "Open" or
"Run" to install on this computer. The update will download and
automatically start. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- OR If the update needs to be installed on one or more machines other then this
one, click on the "Save" button and select a file location on a network drive that is accessible by
those machines. You do not need to download the file at each machine. Then Click on the "Save".
- After the download has completed, on each computer open My
Computer and locate the "Abacus New Cheque Format.EXE" in the
folder to where it was saved.
- Double click on the file and follow the instruction on the
screen.
